I worked on a small fondant quilt today and I thought I would share. I used this to sit under Winnie the Pooh and Tigger. I thought it would also be cute to sit under or over a baby. If you have any questions, please pm me and I will try to answer them.
I’ve added a larger photo of the finished project.
Happy Caking!

This is a video that I did a while ago on how to fix a broken meringue buttercream. I’m doing another one about a differnt way to do it, so this would be part one. I’ll post part two when I get the video done.
This is a basic skill that everyone should know, because there will come a time when your buttercream needs to be rescued!

The making of the Moth Orchid Part 1
It is hard to explain every detail in a mini turorial, but I believe this can get you started…
Surprise… I decided to post a basic mini tutorial on the Moth Orchid instead of only the finished flower. Being a very popular orchid request and very beautiful I think it is a good choice.
This is a basic mini tutorial since not all steps are shown or explained in detail.
Hope you enjoy it…

Here are the things needed to make this flower. Colored gumpaste, Daisy cutters or plungers, ball tool, vein tool, flute dresden tool, sharp craft knife, rolling pin, foam pad, scissors, cutting mat, craft pliers, florist wires and floral tape, water or edible glue.
1. This flower is heavy. Therefore, you need a thick wire to support its weight. Since I don’t have a #20 gauge on hand, I made use of 4 #22 gauge floral wires and wrap it with a green floral tape. Make a loop on ...

This is for those people who are not so skillled in using paintbrush like me. :)
Just realized that Isograph Techical Pens can be used for your wanted sharpness and crispiness of your hand-written text and drawing outlines on your cakes. You just need to buy a new and empty Isograph Tecnical Pen (refillable) and fill it with edible ink (same ink which you can use in edible printers ) and your good to go. Happy Decorating everyone :)

Here’s the part two of ruffle flowers seen on the above cake photo. This video showed how to make the little ruffle flowers. Just a heads up, I used 50/50 gum paste and fondant mixture on all the ruffle florwers shown on this video.
