I’ve been asked to make a Lightning McQueen cake. The client wants the whole bottom cake in a checkerboard pattern (white & black).
I ‘ve never done one, but I imagine that one way to do it would be to cut individual squares in white and black fondant and sugar glue them to the side of the cake.
Does anyone have a tutorial they’d like to share with me? I need to have the cake done by next Friday. They also want me to make the car topper, which I’ll make out of RKT – will also welcome any tips on this part of the cake!
I feel stress coming over my way… LOL!
Any help would be appreciated.
