Random question - grants for cake decorating?

Hi everyone,
Not sure if anyone will know the answer to this;

Are there grants avaialble for people wanting to start their own cake decorating business? I’m currently decorating cakes in my spare time but would love to make a go of it full time, but would need a small amnount of money to start up and wondered if anyone else had started up their own cake business and managed to get a grant for it plesae?

Not sure where I even start to look for things like this. Any help would be greatly apriciated.

Hi Zoe (waves from Bradford)

All funds were cut by the goverment (business link – is no more) If you are claiming benefits it might be worth having a word with your adviser (back to work grants) or ask at the Leeds Chamber of Commerce – they help people setting up if they think its viable :)
