Has anyone ever used 00 flour instead of the cake flour or self raising flour? I have hears it is done but with a ratio of baking powder. any advice?

Hi sugarcha. 00 flour is generally used to make pasta. It is a stronger flour. To make SRF you use 1 cup/150g plain flour: 1 teaspoon baking powder. You should also sift 3 times or as i generally do, put it in a mixing bowl and whisk the dry ingredients to incorporate air and ensure its mixed through..Your product would possible turn out a bit tougher using 00 flour..Good Luck
