Topic tags/keywords: advice idea how-to question

Hey Guys,
I am making a two tiered anniversary cake. The bottom tier (3layers), one layercracked as i flipped onto the other two. I am going to stack a 2 layer tier on top of that. What I am asking is will the cracked layer be stable enough to sit that top tier on,or should I scrap that layer and make a fresh one?

I just did one last weekend and the same thing happened and it was fine. Your cake is not going to be holding up the other cakes your supports are so as long as you have a good support system in place and the other layers are fine you should not have a problem I don’t think.
