Topic tags/keywords: advice question how-to resource cake help business laws home bake

Hello! I am from Mi. and I was wondering about all the laws and this new Cottage Law that we have. I have gone to the site for it, but I”m still confused and want to know if someone else has gone through that, and what they are doing now. I would love to start a real business from home, instead of just making for friends and family, a cake for $10 labor. It is great practice, and gets me a little bit of supplies here and there, but I”m not sure what to do, where to start, and what all the requirements are for starting. I’m not even sure about the Law they have. Do you need to pay to get a certificate, just start, sign up with someone, take a class? How is the home supposed to be in order to start, because I live in an apartment, so I can’t renovate to make it like a real bakery or anything. Sorry for all the questions, I would just love to start so soon, times are getting tough in my little town. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
