How to make gumpaste puppy figurines

Does anyone know how to make doggy (and anything dog related) figurines out of gumpaste? Or can anyone refer me to a tutorial where I can learn how to make those please? I would like to learn how to make those figurines for cupcakes toppers. Please help. I would really appreciate that. Thank you!
