It’s best to use a big cake board and smear some ganache on it and then place the cake on it .This will ensure the cake won’t move or slide away and will stick to the cake board

I got one of these, mistake to put it on a raised turntable! It tipped and my beautiful ganached cake fell onto the floor!! So to use it I would recommend a very low profile turntable and make sure to place a grip mat under your cake on the extender.!!!!

I use big cake board cause I don’t have an extender…. it sure would make life a bit easier if I did…..
