Rolled Buttercream Fondnt

Has anyone tried working with the butter cream fondant? I found this recipe and I have to deliver a cake worked with cream, this fondant stretched with cornstarch, will make it less sweet?

250 g softened butter
250 mL light corn syrup
1 kg or 2.2 lbs. powdered sugar
Vanilla extract
Stand mixer with paddle attachment
Cling film / plastic wrap
Airtight container

Not exactly sure what your rant is all about and quite frankly I totally disagree with you. I have found people here are not only willing to help but also very encouraging. I noticed you used the term community but keep in mind that to be part of the community you need to participate. Looks like you have been a member for 2 years but yet I don’t see much participation on your part so I don’t understand why you are so upset. I am willing to help anyone if I have the knowledge but I spend so much of my time commenting on people’s work that sometimes don’t even see the questions. Of the questions you posted, a number of them were answered. Some of the questions, you could have easily googled the answer like for the marshmallow fondant and the one for the sculpted cake even if I had the answer I am sure it would be very involved. You would need a class or very detailed directions. Some things cannot just be explained in a few short answers. Quite frankly I find your post a little insulting and unfair.

I was about to agree with you, Goreti – that when it comes to asking for assistance and so on in any community, that its give and take – and that you, Veronica, might want to consider a little more interaction before complaining that nobody talks to you.

BUT – your original posted complaint, Veronica – title and all – has been replaced with this recipe and question about buttercream fondant!?! :/
