Peanuts Characters
For a 64th birthday cake for my friend Art. He is the most obsessed Snoopy fan ever! Now after working on these for 8 hours, having the cakes baked, torted, filled and iced in buttercream I got sick. A real intestinal eruption. The cakes were meant to be covered in fondant with Charlie’s yellow shirt as a side strip of fondant with black Chevron stripes. The bottom tier was to be handpainted in light blue with puffy clouds. Never happened, I was just too sick. So they came and picked up the cake as is and were very pleased with it. Thankfully it was a gift so they didn’t pay for it.

The cake picture was sent to me by the birthday boy, looks like it had a rough ride home, I see fingerprints in the buttercream. Sure it tasted nice though. White cake torted and filled with Tiramisu, top cake chocolate torted and filled with fresh raspberry buttercream. Iced in Italian meringue buttercream.
