Air Brush Systems

Hi, bakers,

I’m sure this question has been asked before – probably many times… but I’m ready to purchase an Airbrush system and wanted to get advice from those of you who use it often.

KopyKake and Fat Daddio’s have come up as systems that are fairly good – I’m anxious to get one and start practicing.

Have any of you used the Duff system? I know Michael sells it, but I never hear anyone mention it.

:)))

Thanks!

I initially bought a Tester Aztek and HATED it! Last year at ICES I had a chance to play with several different brands. I liked the Grex, but it was REALLY expensive, definitely out of my price range. In my price range, I really liked the iwata and the Badger airbrushes. I finally settled on the Badger because of their warranty. If anything ever happens to it (nothing has) I can just mail it back to them and they will repair or replace. Hope that helps!

I bought my airbrush at Harbor Freight.. It was like $80. There is a coupon for 20% in most Sunday’s papers!

Thank you all… I ended up bying a Kopy Kake airbrush system and I absolutely LOVE it… airbrushing has made a huge difference in the time it takes for me to color the cakes and the decorations. The end produce is very professional looking.

I recommend it highly.
