If I have a recipe for a Bundt cake is there any reason I couldn’t make it a 8” cake?

That’s a good question. I’ve been wondering this myself. I can’t imagine that it wouldn’t work in a regular *”pan.

It works…just reduce the baking time/keep an eye on it. It should bake faster. The only thing I don’t think would work is Angel Food…only because of how you need to cool it. :). I used pound/bundt cakes for my carved cakes and have baked them in all sorts of shapes…

My go-to favorite chocolate cake recipe was intended for a bundt cake. I’ve never once made it in a bundt pan. I’ve used it in every size round pan, square, and cupcakes and never had a problem. :O)

Thanks for sharing, ladies. I figured it wouldn’t be a problem, but it’s nice to have confirmation.
