You are very welcome. I always make my fondant using Liz Merrick’s Marshmallow Fondant recipe.

I have bought it, but I always doctor it. Like Sandra, I make Liz Marek’s fondant recipe using Fondx as the cheapie fondant in the recipe. If I’m in a hurry, I’ll melt about 1/4 cup of white chocolate and add to the fondant. Improves the taste and elasticity.

jan14grands i have noticed a change as well. The last 2 buckets I have bought have not been great quality. I have one more bucket that I bought at the last show I was at. If that one is also bad I may have to find a new fondant :(. I loved fondx

Isn’t it annoying when you find a fondant you really like, and they change it. Grrrr

I have tried many fondant on the market in the States and Fondx by far is my favorite by it’s performance and price. Check out it’s new flavor- salted caramel, I almost ate it myself while working with it) You might like it much more than standard one

I was very disappointed with my last two buckets as it used to taste sooo good. June, I will try melting the chocolate and adding it for flavor. Good tip. It sure is annoying! Why would they do this? I have never made my own fondant, but tempted to try.

It’s all about the profit…they change to a cheaper ingredients…and usually translates to less quality product!!
