Topic tags/keywords: advice question idea birthday cake

I am doing a bithday cake for an 18 year old microbiology major. Her mom told me that she is “quirky and sarcastic with a weird sense of humor.” So I am doing a bacteria and viruses cake. I’m going to make figures of various bacteria and diseases (a la giantmicrobes.com check it out.. pretty awesome) but I’m drawing a blank when it comes to the enscription. I was thinking of something along the lines of “Happy Birthday from your favorite Germs & Gents” but funnier. haha. The 3 bacteria I know for sure I am using are MRSA, e coli, and salmonella but I may add more. Any ideas??? Thanks!

“Support bacteria; it is the only culture we have left. Happy Birthday!”

“The only culture some people have is between their toes! Happy Birthday!”

Maybe something about the bacteria she will be spreading all over the cake when she blows out the candles?

What is her name? Can that be used in a punny way?

Here’s a site that has lots of biology jokes, puns, poetry…maybe that will give you some ideas:

Thanks so much! Exactly the kind of sayings I was looking for :-) Her name is Corinne… It would be great if I can think of a way to incorporate her name somehow but I’m loving the first suggestion!
