Hi to all of you!
I’m from Chile, and i’m starting to decorate cake like 7 month ago.
I’m using a MMF reciepe, but I have some problems (on winter my cakes go to sticky, and now on summer my cakes loose his forms and my designs can’t resist much time. It’ like my cakes were melted.
Can you help me with this pleaaase? I like very perfect cakes, but I can’t obtain perfect structures and designs.
Maybe is my fondant or maybe are my cakes. Please please please help me.

Thanks!!

Hi, I live in a hot and humid climate, and I have the same problem. fondant become a hard-to-handle, sticky and too-soft medium for cake decorating in balmy climates. In summer, I have to turn on the air conditioner to handle it

Here is a recipe for a MMF that is easy to make, rolls out nicely without tearing, and tastes great. I don’t live in a humid climate, so not sure how it works in humidity. This fondant is all I ever use.
