I’ve seen some really nice cakes made on here made from gf recipes! I have an order for a gf chocolate wedding cake and can’t find a recipe! Would anyone be willing to share theirs? Thank you in advance!

I’m sorry I don’t have one hopefully this bump will get someone will see this post and reply with a recipe. A backup plan, maybe make a normal wedding cake and see if you can make a little something special for whoever needs it to be gluten free. A mini cake or something? I’m sure you can get gluten free cake mix at just about any grocery store. I got to do a barley free one so I need a special type of flour, normally I don’t do orders like this but it’s for a friend. Good luck I hope you find what your looking for!

I have one a vegan baker I found online sent me, I haven’t tried it yet but some of her other recipes I have and they worked well. Hope this helps

Gluten-Free Chocolate Cake

recipe from a vegan bake
vegan, GF, nut-free, makes 8 cupcakes

Ingredients
3/4 cup rice flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup xylitol or vegan sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp xanthan gum
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup coconut milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
1/8 cup oil

Directions
  • Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare muffin tin or cake pan. Set aside.
  • Combine the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl (I use my stand mixer)
  • Add the water, coconut milk, vanilla extract, oil and vinegar to the dry ingredients and mix until
thoroughly combined. The batter will be fairly thick and this is most easily done in a stand mixer.
  • For cupcakes, bake for 25 minutes.
