Introduce Yourself

Hi, I'm Karen

I’m a bookkeeper by day and hobby cake maker for family and friends. It’s really hard not having a cake business but our family has a construction company and I am needed there. My heart is in cake making though.

I took my first class from Michaels Craft Store in 1988 and made cakes for my baby and all her friends growing up. Then I got out of cakes for about 20 years. Then they invented FONDANT!! haha.. I HAD to try that. I watched every show and tutorial I could find and just started experimenting. I have a lot of fun and my husband gets to help in the planning and engineering parts of my cakes.. lol.
