A Good King Cake Recipe

Oh how I love king cake!!! My 9-5 job deals with a lot of compaies in New Orleans so we get a lot of KingCake deliveries in February from the two prominant King Cake Bakeries down there and boy are they delicious! I’d love to have a recipe as well! Manny Randazzo and Haydel’s King Cakes are the BEST!

I liked the flavor. I am not sure about the texture. I thought the cake would look smoother, but overall I was pleased. This was my first foray into anything with yeast.
