I was 7 the first time I baked by myself. It was a self-saucing chocolate pudding, made from scratch with my mums recipe book. And it was awful! I put a tablespoon of baking powder in, instead of a teaspoon, but my family suffered through it nonetheless. Thankfully I've improved over time and now have a loyal base of people willing to devour my wares with much more enthusiasm. Two years ago i was diagnosed with anaphylaxis to all the basic ingredients of cakes but it hasn't dampened my enthusiasm, instead fueling my desire to make cakes that look as good as they taste. I'm new to the world of sugarcraft and love the creativity and freedom of designing that 'perfect' cake for someone
