Some recent cupcakes I made – vanilla cupcakes with various flavoured buttercreams – toffee, lemon, vanilla and strawberry

This is an 8 inch vanilla sponge cake, four layers with alternate vanilla buttercream and strawberry preserve in between the layers. Made to go with the 5 inch fruit cake I made and posted earlier.

5 inch rich fruit cake for a friend’s 50th wedding anniversary. My first real attempt at sugar flowers and leaves.

Made for a friend for her 40th birthday celebration. We both love Mr Men.

A chocolate fudge cake I made for my neice to celebrate her 30th birthday. Everything is edible including the wine label and the picture. The photoframe is made from modelling chocolate. There are white chocolate shavings in the crate.

I was asked by a friend to make 16 miniature fruit cakes, one for each year of Tommy’s age to celebrate his birthday. The themes were marine biology, orange vw camper vans and surfing.
