Great interview Peggy! The cake decorating world is lucky to have you! I know I’ve told you before but your “UP” cake is one of my all-time favorites. You are an inspiration and one day I hope my cakes are half as lovely as yours. Seriously, you ROCK!

Congratulations on the article Peggy! You are always so sweet and helpful and I love looking at your cakes. I know how much time making cakes takes and how you create all of those beautiful cakes and also find time to share tips with friends is amazing. You make Mississippi proud!

Your interview encourages me. I’ve found out I like decorating cakes just ten months ago, when I baked a cake for my sister in law. Your cakes are great Peggy!

Like ALWAYS, thanks for sharing! So not surprised you were the first! No one else would have been so perfect for the first! Good job, and loved hearing how you started! Such an encouragement for someone like myself that baked my first cake a couple of months ago :D

Yay! great interview- I like the picture of you too…sometimes when I think of you Peggy, I visualize the pink princess cake and I have to laugh that you are actually a beautiful woman and not a big pink cake that I’m cakey friends with LOL.

Great Interveiw Peggy! We all Love you!?

Peggy, your interview was so inspiring. It kind of reminds me of…. me. I started making cakes when my son turned 1, the feed back I kept getting, planted little seeds in my mind??? I thought wow, wonder if it would be possible to do this for real. Then when my daughter turned 2, I decided to go on-line, find a marshmallow fondant receipe, and make her a FABULOUS “Blues Clues” cake. When we went to set up for her birthday party, I thought we were going to get mobbed by the customers in the resturaunt. They were floored, not to toot my own horn, LOL. There were A LOT of mistakes, but over all, I was well pleased. And since then, I slowly, have been internet training (kind of like plugging into the matrix). It’s addicting, to attempt to learn new things!!! And I absolutely love looking at your cakes, and reading your posts!!!! Your awsome, and inspiring!! Thank you soooooo much!!

Great interview Peggy! Do you know we started decorating around the same time and I’ve always joked that I finally know at the age of 38 what I want to be when I grow up! Thank you for being such an ambassador for sharing cake knowledge and the talents of other cake artists as well as your own.
P.S I never would have guessed your age from your picture, you look great!

Your interview was wonderful. It is cool that we started “Cakin” (as I call it) about the same time. I picked up my first decorating bag in February, 2010.
