I have experienced the same thing, it was my fault hahaha I accidentally unfollowed “people” when I actually wanted to unfollow “discussions”. It could be it :)

Yes, the same thing has happened to me. People I was following were unfollowed somehow. I didn’t even notice until I saw them post a cake that I wasn’t notified about. This happened a few months ago, I haven’t noticed anything recently.

Ditto what Toni said….also occurred a few months ago for me. Since Michal did a update, I haven’t noticed it happening lately.

Thank you ladies… Selma I’ve done that before too lol, I put the first couple of times down to my own error or accidentally clicking the button next to someone’s name, but like the other ladies it’s happened a few too many times now to be explained that way. Today I had to re-follow someone I’m sure I haven’t unfollowed a discussion by before – so that’s after the updates :/

I haven’t noticed this but let me say now that if I have ever unfollowed anyone, it has never been intentional :-)

I think it happened to me a while ago too, I noticed I wasnt getting notified for Daantjes cakes who ive followed for ages. Anyway I followed her again and checked. Dont think any one else is missing xx

It happened to me once! I am not sure though, whether I unfollowed the account by accident.

Yes!!! I don’t get notifications of many people! I just noticed!! Why’s that?

when June(Jchuck) contacted me with this issue, we investigated If(and how) is it possible. Unfortunately we didn’t find anything that could cause losing follows or followers. As some of you mentioned, you could accidentally click on unfollow, couldn’t you?

SweetKOKEKO by Arantxa: could you please send me a private message and describe the issue with notifications? Is it happening with all follows? Are you getting notifications with comments that were posted on your cakes? Also, try to check Me → Edit My Profile & Settings → My Email Notification Settings.

Weird Michal….today, for about 1/2 a day, I didn’t get a any emails at the usual times from CD of my notifications. When I logged on to CD and clicked notifications….it said….“unavailable” ? Tried through both google chrome and safari…same. That’s never happened before. Then in a hour or two, everything went back to normal….. Of course this could just have been a hiccup with my tablet Anyway….alls well now…. 👍 👍

I had a similar problem to June – for a while yesterday I couldn’t access the site at all. The message said that the site had too many people accessing it all at once! Seems fine today. I’ve had a few people I thought I was following and then wasn’t – it could well be me though!

No, it was not a hiccup on your end. We have had some server issues, but it should be fine now. If it will happen again, please try to remember the time when it happened and let me know ;)

Yes this too has been happening and like others I only notice it when they post a cake and I view it and it reads follow…many of these people I have followed for a long time so I know something is up. Maybe just this crazy computer world we live in.
