Dry your hands on a white cloth.or paper towels.. I find my teatowels are the cause!

I always run a lint roller over my shirt to make sure that no lint is dropping off my shirt and and you can keep a fondant ball next to you and use that to clean the lint off your hand before touching the fondant for your piece

I wear a full cotton apron, so no pesky lint comes from my clothes. Dry my hands on a 100% linen tea towel…they don’t collect lint. Use the fondant ball trick. And I use a lint cloth and go over my kitchen floor, gently, before I start. Don’t vac, as that kicks up dust & lint…I vac when I’m finished.

Sorry Wallace….no bare arms in winter time for me!!! But I have a long sleeved cotton apron for the winter I wear. Always prepared….. :o)

Maybe in summer it would be better to be a nudest cake decorater Wallace.

I used to have a black apron, which I found dropped tiny bits of lint… that I could not detect, till I worked with fondant.

Kath I REALLY don’t think anyone would want to see this lady nude decorating a cake… Nope…to scary to think about.. :o)
