Everyone has a budget, never lower your prices to meet it, set your prices and stick with them. I’d like to get a lobster dinner for the price of a happy meal but it doesn’t work that way. If the cake is out of thier budget they will need to alter their design or size excpections or move on. You need to make an acceptable profit.
