I made red velvet cupcakes with a vanilla bean butter cream frosting. I added corn syrup mixed with red gel food coloring to add the “bite marks” on the frosting. True Blood logo was made with royal icing. I made these in honor of my favorite show! I am a #truebie! :)

I wanted to come up with a design that resembled a dress and also a tribute to Rose McGowan’s character in Planet Terror. I was going for a psychobilly/zombie design with some glamour!!! 3 layer vanilla cake with leopard spots inside of cake. Frosted in buttercream with fondant accents and dusted with disco dust! Thanks to Melissa @ mycakeschool.com who made a tutorial on leopard print inside cake. I highly recommend becoming a member to learn more of her techniques! :)
