This a vanilla cake butter-creamed filling covered in fondant. The piping was royal icing and I used tips 3 & 4. Tip 4 was used to make the long strands and tip 3 for the hanging strands. Spider was made from fondant and black roses to complete the black & white web cake…enjoy!!! P.s string work did break about four times…so it looks easy but it wasn’t that easy…lol….good luck!!!

Made this for my hubby!!! I got him good…he looked for two days for any evidence of cake for his birthday…caught him last night looking to see if I baked it and hid it…lol. This morning he left later and the look was priceless then we went to our daughter’s play and he came home no cake…so at 11:00 I baked it and by 1pm the cake was filling, crumb coated and covered in fondant!!! No lunch or break, it is simple but I think it was the best cake he has had…he thought I forgot to make it….Love you sweetie!!!

Picture was taken in a hurry it was still drying from wiping with vodka….we took it to his job as a surprise!!! It’s all gone now…lol…

I made this for my little girl who made her Communion today!!! Chocolate cake with buttercream filling and icing…4,6, 10…covered in fondant. I crafted the toppers from gum-paste & fondant. Three different diamond shape designs on the cake on all three tiers, billowing affect for the pillars and fondant covered bases….I also made cake pops and the cookies….Thank you for looking!!! Xoxo
