Sticky Chocolate Cake
This cake is super moist and has golden syrup to really add depth to the flavour. For best results, use the best quality ingredients you can find. I have had this recipe hand written into my cookbook after copying it out of one of mums books, its been around a loooong time, so dont know who gets original credit…but its super yummy! 8oz Self Raising Flour4 Tablespoons Cocoa4 oz sugar (1 cup)2 tablespoons golden syrup1 1/2 cups hot water1 teaspoon bicarb soda3oz butter (3 tablespoons)vanilla essense Sift dry ingredients into a large bowl.
