This is a 3 tier version of the 2 tier Vintage Rose Wedding Cake I made 3 weeks ago.

The couple I made the 2 tier for were also having a wedding after-party 3 weeks after their wedding and wanted a 3 tier cake, in the same design as their original cake, in ivory & silver.

Bottom tier: Dark chocolate and raspberry with a chocolate ganache.
Middle tier: Champagne and raspberry with a champagne buttercream.
Top tier: Lemon sponge with a lemon buttercream.

This cake was decorated on a large board so that the customer could place miniature champagne glasses around the board, along with one on the top tier, all filled with champagne for the birthday girl

Vintage style wedding cake with 2 large handmade sugarpaste roses.

The cake was delivered to central London and had to be set up prior to delivery, which was a scary drive!

Last year a little girl asked for a Dalmatian dog cake and her parents also asked for some cupcakes which I decorated to look like Dalmatian faces.

When asked this year what she’d like for her cake she replied ‘the dog cake again’. So here are both versions!

The picture quality isn’t brilliant on this years version (without wallpaper backgound) as it was finished late and being picked up that evening and unfortunately I can’t get decent pictures in false light.

I didn’t get the ratio between head and body right on either cake, the head is too big. If I do this cake again I will have to try to make sure I bake a smaller head and larger body!

A laptop cake for a Chelsea Football Club fans 50th. His wife also said the only way she could ever afford to buy him the car he dreamed of, was to buy him a model version. This was included in the design, as the mouse, sitting on a mousemat with a picture of him in lederhosen!

Made for a guys 40th. He is a chilli lover and a marzipan lover. The cake inside the pot is chocolate chilli flavour. The chillies were made from marzipan and the leaves from white chocolate coloured green. Although the wires were covered in florist tape and dipped in chocolate I did advise the customers wife that the chillies and leaves shouldn’t be eaten, as in the UK anything with a wire inserted in it is not classed as food safe.

A fun cake to make.

Similar to many others out there – A Chanel No5 bottle using edible printed icing for the logo. The hardest part for me was making the small seal around the stopper

For this teddy bear cake I didn’t use a mould but modelled it from cake & rice krispie treats. There is T plastic piping through the main body and across the shoulders. The building blocks are supported by a covered piece of wood which is sitting on plastic piping inserted into teddy’s feet.

This was a personalised bride & groom cake topper including bride’s tattoo! They also wanted their Dalmatian puppy included on top of the cake.

I loved making Eeyore for this christening cake. It’s the first time I’ve modelled an Eeyore and I’m really pleased with how he turned out.

This cake is copied from Lindy Smith’s suitcase cake, only in pink & white, instead of blue & white.

They got married in Cyprus and had a reception on their return.

The bride & groom toppers are personalised.

This cake was for a couple who were having a festival themed wedding. They wanted a bunting cake, in shades of pink and brown, along with individual cakes. They also went for wellington boot cookie favours.

A 4 tier cake with half height and double height tiers in blue and white. A very pretty heart shaped brooch is the focal point.
