Pirate themed cake & cupcakes for a little boy’s 4th birthday…just a shame his party got cancelled due to the weather condition’s though…
The inspiration for the cake design came from his party invitation & the skull on top of the cake was made by my hubby…

Was asked to make this cake for someone who works on an oil rig…enjoys sports eg: boxing…cycling…rugby…football & been to Uni hence the Mortar Board & Diploma and loved playing with Lego in his younger days…lol…a great challenge loved every minute of putting it together even the sleepness night i had making lego bricks & the cycle…wouldn’t have minded went in drawer to look for a shell mould & came out with a bicycle cutter why couldn’t i have found it before i spent hours trying to make it…grrr just shows i’ve that much stuff i dont know what i’ve got hidden away…lol

I made this cake for my Granddaughter Lucy-Mae’s 2nd birthday which was today…my original plan was to make her a Princess Castle that was going to include Mickey & Minnie Mouse but because she’d had Minnie Mouse last year her mum & dad thought it would be nice to have something different, but said the choice was mine seeing as i was making it so…Iggle Piggle…Upsadaisy & Makka Pakka it was… :-)

I was asked to make a Harry Potter Castle Cake for a young girl who turned 16 yrs old today…hadn’t a clue how i was going to do it, but found some inspiration from a pix i found on yahoo images and sort’ve worked out how i wanted my castle to look..

The bottom section of the cake comprises of 2..9” Chocolate Cakes filled with chocolate buttercream, the top part of the cake is also chocolate. The roof is made from a cake board folded in half & covered in fondant icing , the owl sitting on the chimney pot is edible & was made by my hubby…the top of the turrets are edible whilst the bottom half were made from kitchen roll tubes..

Made this cake for my friends Daughter’s wedding yesterday…she had 11 bridesmaids whose dresses were in the same colour as the roses i made for the cake…the bottom tier is fruit…3rd tier is Chocolate & the top 2 tiers are vanilla…x

I was asked to make a sport theme cake/cupcakes for a man who likes darts & football & as i’d already done football cakes before i decided to have a go at making a dart theme set…the dartboard cupcake toppers were made using edible rice paper & the darts were handmade by myself. xx
