Made a Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse cake for the same customer!

Loved how this cake turned out.

This is my second wedding cake! The groom likes to sing so they asked me to put a microphone. Got lots of complements! Feels great!

The young man that ordered this cake from me was such a sweetheart! He sent me pictures of the bedding he had purchased for his wife. Told me to make any design I wanted. That he trusted my work. Wow! I was ready to quit decorating cakes because the stress was getting to me but after making this cake which was the sixth cake for this particular weekend, his reaction when he saw it was such a blessing because at that moment I remembered why I love decorating cakes! I love when the customers are happy when they see their cakes!!!!

Still working on making figures out of fondant. Didn’t really like the face. Practice makes perfect so I’ll keep at it!

A last minute order. Lots of fun making it.

I was given a picture of a cake they wanted so I can’t take credit for the design. This was my second three tier cake. It was a last minute order and felt rushed to make it. One lesson learned, don’t take on to many orders for one day! Very stressful and not worth it. I’m glad I was able to finish on time though. They loved their cake too. So at the end I guess it was worth the stress!!!!

Got lots of compliments on this cake! So glad they loved it!

This cake was fun to make. It was for a little girl’s first birthday.

This cake was ordered along with the ballerina cake but the customer didn’t seem to like it. This was the first time a customer seemed unhappy! I’ve been making cakes for just a few months now and I am self taught. I don’t charge much since I’m just starting but it’s hard when people don’t seem to appreciate your work. Well, I liked the way it came out!

One of many cakes I made this weekend. My crowns are getting better. It’s so true what they say, practice makes perfect! Well, my work isn’t clean yet but I getting better with every cake I make.

I made the figurine hoping it would look like Angelina Ballerina! I think I did a good job since everyone was able to recognize her!!!!

I love making sports cake even though I don’t follow sports! I don’t know why the purple show up like blue in the pictures!

This was my first attempt at a shoe and a purse! The purse is out of rice krispies. It was fun working on this cake.

This cake was for a nine year old little girl who is a big dodger fan! That’s why I added a ribbon rose!!!!!
