After many hours of making flowers, I was very happy with the result. My daughter was very happy with the colors I used and the look of the cake.

They are now enjoying a wonderful honeymoon in Mexico!

Made this cake for a birthday celebration – added the peacock feather for a little pizazz – the roses are all made out of gumpaste.

This was a lemon cake with a lemon curd-buttercream filling.

This year, I decided to make myself a birthday cake – so I made the little gumpaste figure, miniature cakes, doughnuts and an apple pie – but by the time I was all finished, I was too tired to bake my own cake – so… (please, don’t gasp) – I bought a little chocolate cake from the frozen section of the grocery store – LOL! Isn’t that always the case when you bake great cakes for everybody, but yourself???

Oh, well… it looks pretty whimsical and will be good enough to sing Happy Birthday!

I decided to make this little cake fo rmy son’s 40th birthday at the last minute because he didn’t want a cake = but how could I not??? Being so rushed, I thank all the bakers who posted similar cakes on the web for making my inspiration so much easier.

This was an orange cake glazed with an orange liquor and covered in white chocolate buttercream tinted green. I added the Easter bunny as a bonus for Easter = :)))

I got my inspiration from several jungle cakes I saw on Google, so once I decided on this theme I added my own special spin – the cupcakes were so adorable that I just had to make them – thank you Sugar Creations for providing me with such a fun project for my client.

This is an almond white sour cream cake with a white chocolate buttercream filling. The cupcakes are chocolate filled with chocolate pudding.

I made this cake for a friend of mine who was turning 50 – the bubbles are made out of gelatin. I purchased the “50” sparkler candles and carried on about how exciting it was going to be – but lo and behold, the numbers never lit up no matter how hard we tried – a bit of an embarrassment!!! Still, the cake tasted good, which is what really matters!

I made this cake for the son of a friend of mine. He is in the Air Force and is being transferred to Hawaii. The top tier is a chocolate cake and the bottom tier is a vanilla/chocolate cake with a white chocolate buttercream filling. The Spy vs Spy characters was a whimsical touch requested by my friend!

This is the bridal shower cake I made for my daughter. I’d like to thank Debbie, from Home Run Cakes for her great input with the figures. The top tier was German Chocolate, the middle one was vanilla filled with chocolate ganache and the bottom tier was chocolate with a white chocolate buttercream.

I made these sugar cookies for my daughter’s Lingerie bridal shower. I’m going to be freeezing them because the shower is not until the 16th!

I saw similar cookies on the internet and thought it was fabulous and very apropo for the occasion. I dont remember the name of the person who made them, but thank you just the same!

Made this cake for a 4-year old who loves Doc McStuffin. This was an almond vanilla checkered cake in pink and purple, which are the birthday girl’s favorite colors.

Client asked for a soft and delicate cake for her baby shower – this was a white sour cream cake; the cake pops are red velvet and the cupcakes are chocolate.

This a diaper bag that client requested – I added a lot of “gold” touches to stay with the JC theme – I even added rhinestones to the baby pacifier.

This was a white cake filled with an almond buttercream frosting and a chocolate ganache crumbcoating.

I made this almond pount cake for a very special person who will be turning 80 on Christmas Day, thus the nativity theme!

I also made chocolate cupcakes to go along with the cake.

I just finished these two roses for a birthday cake. I’ll post the actual cake as soon as I finish it!

I had a nice order for cake pops – I used red velvet, devi’s food, vanilla, chocolate, spearmint, etc. Everybody was happy with their orders!
