I have been baking for as long as I can remember, but until my son's first birthday I had never given much thought to the decorating part! That was in 2011, and after that I made a handful of other cakes and on the suggestion of friends and family decided to set up a business from home. There are so so many talented cake makers out there I sometimes wonder what I have to offer, but it suits me perfectly as I can stay home with my two sons, I get to use the creative part of my brain I didn't even realise I had and I absolutely love the challenge of creating something that looks good (I hope!) and tastes good too (I hope!)
