White almond sour cream wedding cake filled and ice with Swiss meringue butter cream and then covered in fondant, and then covered in fondant lace, and then hand-piped with royal icing. No matter how many times we (me or the professional photographer) photographed this cake, it never looked quite like the “real life” cake did. Also, most photos are very different from one another, not just in color, but in depth of the lace design, and overall texture. Bizarre!
