This cake was an adaptation of one i saw on Flickr although i am not sure who it was by but i loved the fresh style of it. im really not happy with my model but you live and learn. Also caught the icing as i was packing it up and was unable to smooth it successfully :( Ben 10 logo was hand cut. Thanks for looking

Cake for my nephews 1st birthday. This cake is a slight tweak on the gorgeous cake by Cake Avenue, so thank you very much to them for the inspiration. This is my favourite cake to date.

This was a request from a customer a simple and cheap cake for a welcome home from Afghanistan for her son. Think it came out quite classy. Less is more sometimes!

This was a christening cake for a 3 year old boy. The request was for blocks with his name on, stars shooting out the top and circles on it and not too babyish. Think i managed to get all that into it!

Lemon drizzle cupcakes with lemon and white chocolate bettercream topped with an edible pinwheel. All in all a very fresh summery cupcake.

This was a cake for my own 10th Wedding anniversary so I took the chance to experiment. The venue was a lovely Shabby chic cafe bar. The top tier is lemon drizzle cake with a white chocolate and lemon butter cream the bottom tier is chocolate mud cake with a white chocolate butter cream. I dont like fondant or gnache so it was butter cream all the way!

This is my second Fireman Sam cake. I tried a slightly different style to last time and was happy with how it turned out.

This cake was made for our street party. Plaque cut free hand unfortunately went rather wrong and i was unable to work out how to sort it in time :(

These were lemon drizzle cupcakes for a baby shower.

I was asked to make some cupcakes for my sons schools Jubilee garden party. These are lemon drizzle cup cakes with vanilla butter cream.

Had a picture in my mind for a while as to what this cake would look like so was happy with the finished look although don’t know if it was the weather but i have never had so much trouble icing a round cake, took 2 attempts and i still was not please with the sharpness of the finished result, oh well you live and learn! Thankfully it was a gift for a friends child and she was very delighted with the cake.

This was made for a boys birthday, not my finest work but the first cake that has needed so much carving. Originally the fireman was made of fondant but once the cake was finished the proportions were not right so i switched to a plastic one. This turned out to be a good thing as when the cake went off to be cut the child cried a lot as he thought the cake was a toy and he wanted to play with it. It took a lot of persuasion to let his parents cut it and he was made happier by having a toy Sam to play with.

Made these a while back but forgot to upload them. Made for a Norwich city fan!

This was made for someone who has recently returned to work after having a baby. There are a mixture of baby and beauty items as well as a lolly pop which is actually for her husband who has rather a sweet tooth. I really love how this is a real representation of the person it is for. It is also a replica of her own handbag.

This whimsical cake was for a male 30th Birthday. This is not my design but is a mix of many cakes in this style that i have seen online.

This is a vanilla sponge filled with fresh strawberries and white chocolate ganache and then wrapped in white modeling chocolate.

This was a very tricky cake to make and took hours. But for it to work well i knew I had to get it just right. I have made lego men cake pops to match which i uploaded previously.
