Hello everyone , I finally got around to trying out COCOA BUTTER cake painting, which has been interesting to say the least, I’ve recorded the process, how to start on it, what to use ( and not) and some of the patterns I tried paining. If you like the vid please share it on. your social media, lots of love and have a great weekend.

Your cake and flowers are beautiful! It was wonderful watching you venture out with a new medium and showing the actual difficulties (and triumphs) as you use it. A few questions, if you don’t mind: Could this be done on a real cake that needs to be kept cold and fresh? Also, do you have a beginners video for cold porcelain including recipe? I’ve never used cold porcelain and would like to give it a try. Many thanks for sharing. A great video!

So beautifully done!! Glad you also love cocoa butter, I absolutely love the medium!! I’ve painted real cakes very successfully, onto fondant, and on royal icing and tempered chocolate.
Happy painting, I can see here with your beautiful work you’ve enjoyed it too. Painting on ganache is so effective. Thanks for sharing. ! 🤗😍

You must never limit your challenges, instead you must challenge your limits

Thank you everyone, Calli, yes, I enjoyed the medium, though I think this wasn’t the pattern for me, I will try a different one on the other side ( it’s faux cake)
