How to Make STANDING SUGAR SUNFLOWERS: No Cutters, No Veiners, No Molds

In this tutorial, you will learn how to make THREE different standing gumpaste sugar flowers: a ‘classic’ Yellow Sunflower with a light center, one modeled after a ‘Ring of Fire’ sunflower, and a Red Sunflower.

You will be able to make these very colorful sugar creations without the use of cutters, veiners, or molds, and you will learn how to use mostly everyday household items to shape your sunflowers differently: one very flat and open with little to no petal movement, one slightly cupped with some petal movement, and one slightly closed with lots of petal movement.

You will see how I made the colors in these sugar flowers come alive after the initial dusting.
