Celebrate the wedding ceremony with this unique and beautiful rose petal cake. Make this creative wedding cake all by yourself by just following some simple steps, and surprise your loved one as well as your guests in the wedding party. Have a quick and detailed look at the recipe of the cake below.

Ingredients required:

1. Cake Board: 30cm. (It would be better if the shape of the cake board is round.)
2. Fresh Rose Petals: Pink and White
3. Small Silver Cachous: 1 tablespoon
4. Home Made Gold Butter-Cake: 2 quantities
5. Rosewater Essence: 1/4 teaspoon
6. Egg-whites: 4
7. Caster Sugar: 2 cups
8. Food colour for decoration (Pink)

Methods for Baking:

Step 1: Preheat the oven near about 180°C-160°C. Then grease the cake pans with butter.

Step 2: Take the home made butter cakes and divide the quantities between the pre-heated pans. Smoothen the upper surface. Bake it for 45 minutes or until it is cooked properly. Allow the baked cake to stand for 5 minutes. Take out the cake from the oven, keep it aside for cooling.

Step 3: Method of Frosting-
Take a large and round heatproof bowl, add sugar, egg-whites and ¼ cup of cold water into the bowl. Place the bowl on a sauce pan containing simmering water and mix the ingredients for fifteen minutes until it becomes stiff.

Step 4: Add and mix the rose water essence gently to the frosting. Mix them together for 7-8 minutes until everything cools down. Add the pink food colour and beat it gently so that the frosting becomes pink in colour.

Step 5: Take the serrated knife and level the top portions of the cakes if needed. Cut the baked cakes in half horizontally. Put one cake on the cake board. Spread the frosting on it, then put the second layer over it. Spread about half cup frosting. Repeat the layers finishing with a cake layer. Distribute the rest of the frosting over the side and top of the cake. To give a swirled look to the cake use a palette knife.

Step 6: Use rose petals for topping. As pink food colour has been used for frosting so it would be better to use pink or white rose petals for decoration. Serve your guests with this yummy cake on the wedding ceremony!
