Cheaper cake boards and dummies.

Sometimes the distance between the village, where I live, and the nearest town doesn’t allow me to get all the tools needed to decorate my cakes and sometimes I can’t find them neither in town. I always had to buy cake boards on the Internet. That means shipping costs… So I went in my hubby’s DIY carpentry and I started searching something helpful.
I found a 125cm x 60 cm x 4 cm polystyrene sheet (EUR 6.00 =GBP 4.43) :

Idea! I sketched a circle on the polystyrene sheet (I used a baking tin to help):

I cutted it with the alternative hacksaw:

And that’s it!

I made a different shape:

WOW, great!!! I think I could make a lot of shapes with only 6,00 EUR, all the shapes I love :)
Hope this tutorial will be helpful for somebody. Hope my english isn’t so bad, too. Lol
