Tool Review: Turntable


Couldn’t live without my turntable. Use it for just about every cake I’ve done. Put my figures on the turntable to work on. This is my 2nd. turntable, a Wilton upgrade. I would dearly love one of those heavy duty stainless steel turntables, like Fat Daddio’s. But, being strictly a hobby baker, can’t justify the expense. I just recently entered a contest to win a stainless steel turntable….hope I win it… ❤️

that’s a good one.. I have a plastic one that lays flat on the table (someone gave me)!, and I don’t have to lift my arm as high, since my tables are higher.. so I might put my turntable on as my fav…. ;)

When I first started decorating I used to place cakes on a cake tin and manually turn it round when covering. I realised I was making a meal of the operation so I ordered a turntable. I think it was my first serious piece of cake decorating kit and I was deliriously happy when it arrived. I simply couldn’t live without it. xx
