gumpaste problem

Hii,Im having a problem with gumpaste,it is cracking when rolling , can any one inform me why,whats the problem,thank you…

Sounds like your gumpaste is too dry. Knead it well and add a small amount of shortening. Gumpaste should be soft, pliable and stretchy. Keep adding shortening until you
achieve reach that state. Gumpaste should also be well wrapped in plastic wrap and stored in a airtight container to prevent drying out. Covered well when working with it too.
