This was for a couple who were having a vintage wedding, they didn’t want anything fussy, just quite simple and effective and pastel colours to match their theme. So this was what I came up with.

This was made for a local restaurant called the Meze Grill, I made a xmas wedding cake to be used as a display/decorative piece to go with their xmas decoration. This is what i came up with.

Made to show a style of cake for couples who don’t like icing and wanted something more natural and very appealing to the eye so it shouts ‘EAT ME’.

For a bride who wanted something elegant yet not to fussy and with a bit of fabric effect like on her dress, incorporated her flowers to.

Wedding cake for a couple who wanted their cake fairly simple but elegant and to include roses which were in her bouquet.

Corpse Bride & Groom cake, based on a ‘Pink Cake Box’ design. Bride and groom wanted a cake that would surprise the guests and to reflect them. Not your usual wedding cake but was great to make.

This was a very hard task for me, i am not an artist (painting) so when asked to do this was not sure i could. The hardest part was painting on BLACK – not easy when you don’t know what your doing! lol. For a 1st attempt i think it came out ok, the birthday girl loved it.

4 tier wedding cake, the bride and groom told me their colour scheme and that they wanted some flowers with leaves and tea cups on the top because of a tarrot card ‘2 cups’. So this was what i came up with, tea cups made from gumpaste. Each tier was a different flavour.

I am completely self-taught and have learnt through books and on line tips and advice from talented cake artists across the globe. I decided to post some pictures on facebook 8 months ago and due to demand started my business Dazzlelicious Cakes. It has grown from strength to strength and i am loving all the challenges i have ahead of me. I am launching my website in a few days ready for the new year and have many exciting projects i will be working on next year.
This cake was a sample i did for my website to show people what i can create, i so loved doing this and look forward to many more similar designs for next year.
