I was wondering, what your feathers were made out of. They look awesome….as does the rest of your cake. I especially love the bridge work.

Thank you. The feathers were made with gum paste. I rolled it out VERY thin and cut out random sized feather shapes with a pizza cutter and cut the slits and dried on crumpled paper towels to give them movement. They break very easy, so they had to be handled with care :-)
