Oh Ellie, it is absolutely spectacular! Your little angel and mice are so adorable! I know how you feel having your first Christmas without your Mum. This was my 4th Christmas since my husband passed, and it is still difficult! Your Mum would be so proud of the gorgeous creations her daughter makes!

I think I remember the mouse you are talking about, but I’m not sure if it’s the same one. I remember a little mouse I thought we used to call Toppo Gigio, who had a little red car………but maybe it’s not the same one.

Oh, Elli, it is simply stunning. So beautifully done in all white. I’m so sorry for the loss of your Mom. I’m sure she loves seeing this beautiful cake and is very proud of you and your talents. I, too, lost my Mom 3 years ago and she was too sick to ever see my cakes, except in pictures and I still miss her so much. I love the little angel – she’s beautiful and sweet and the mice have such a special meaning for you – they’re precious. and the overall design is so pretty. Hi Elli, this is a really marvelous cake, and I am sure that your Mother is really proud of you!!!! I wrote ‘is’ because I believe that our loved ones although dead, are still loving and protecting us!! Like you I have lost my mother, although quite some time ago, and I still feel as if she helps me when things get rough!!! Love the little angel, she is really cute, and the mice are adorable!!!
