Oh wow…just got up from after a very long but fulfilling Christmas Day yesterday to see SO many LOVELY, SWEET, amazing, BEAUTIFUL comments and my cake in top spot alongside some of the nicest artists I’ve met! Oh and Jan, yes it was delicious although a bit dense but I think I know what I need to do next time. More baking soda and perhaps more liquid (milk) as the pumpkin puree is very dense and I was trying to alter an existing apple spice recipe where applesauce is looser.
