Great design! I too am surprised buttercream can be painted on…would think it might cause the buttercream crust to crack – nice to know =D

Thank you all so much!!!xxxI use a crusting buttercream and stabilize with cornstarch instead of meringue powder. Then I let it set for about 3 to 4 hours, the longer the better. To paint I use gel colours and soft brushes.
