Oh Toni, This is gorgeous, the detail is so exquisite and lovely. A very happy birthday to your lovely grand daughter.

It looks like I will be following you…‘cos I have been asked to do a mermaid cake for a close friend’s daughter which is in Nov and then I have been constantly asked by my darling daughter to do a Princess cake for her birthday which is in Dec…… and I still haven’t designed anything yet and God knows how they are both going to turn out :-( !!!! Both your Mermaid and the princess cakes are spectacular.

If the next cake that you are planning to do is ART based then that would be really funny and weird :-) ’cos that is what I have been requested to do for a niece of mine after these two cakes

Thank you Sasi! That is so funny that you are making a Little Mermaid cake, and a Princess cake, but no, I don’t have an art cake planned (at least not yet)! I can’t wait to see yours!

Thank you Donna! The carriage was a styrofoam ball covered with fondant. I was going to use Rice Krispie Treats to make it, but I wanted my little princess to be able to keep the carriage for a little while.
