I love being with children that I did not notice that am working day-in and out in school. One day a business opportunity knocked on my door and I ended up opening a small coffee shop. We named it CofiLaTea, just like the others we have different coffee mixes, organic tea , sandwiches, cupcakes and cakes too.. I hired a baker but things didn’t worked well so I ended up baking :)

Being a newbie, there’s always the fear of not being able to deliver good results specially with the designs being presented by the customers. They would often bring a picture they got from the “net” and tell you to do exactly the same. I will inform them politely that I will not copy the design they have because the owner of that cake will not be happy if I do so, we will use the design for inspiration.

I am happy discovering a new me side me, learning one cake a time, appreciating every hit and miss days and accepting the challenges that lies ahead.

My new challenge – a rooster themed 2 Tier Cake with 50 cupcakes.

I already have presented the client a design and she loved it, but ….. I want to make it better.

can someone help me with this?
