For my nephew’s 2nd birthday…

Gold and pastel heart themed baby shower sweets including caramel mud cake finished in buttercream, oreo cake pops, vanilla bean cookies and macarons.

Four tiers all finished in buttercream with beautiful handmade roses cascading from top to bottom.

My first attempt using silver leaf and ombre ruffle petals. Cakes were vanilla raspberry. Toppers where stamped with the couples’ names and supplied by them :)

Absolutely loved making this cake! Bottom tier was caramel mud and covered in fondant ruffles marbled yellow and white. Top tier was a giant cupcake in vanilla in a white chocolate case with yellow buttercream rosette swirls. It was for my niece Courtney Rose…..’C’ for Courtney and a rose x

This took me so much longer than I had anticipated! Double barrel choc mud cake filled with choc ganache and covered in white buttercream. Topped with handmade rainbow and finished off with a simple plaque. Quite happy with it in the end….not so happy with the mess in my kitchen once I’d finished!!

I used to rush home from school to watch the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles when I was a kid! Package included an 8 inch lemon cake with handcut logo, choc mud turtle head cake pops and vanilla been cookies.

I was asked (yes, me!!) to submit a design by Cake Central magazine. I was completely blown away to be asked but even more so when I found out that they included my entry in their magazine!! It was quite a rush to get it done between existing cake orders and preparing for two wedding expos!

8 inch choc mud cake for Edan’s 5 birthday!

Happy 2nd Birthday Sienna! A recreation of ‘The Katelyn’ but in pink and green. Client supplied the teacup. Cakes were white choc mud marbled pink & green.

Sarah is celebrating her 40th in style with a red carpet Academy Awards theme. Cake topper was supplied by the wonderful Jenny at Top This Designs. I made this cake for my cheeky 4 year old niece. Inside was 4 brightly coloured layers of vanilla cake. On my kitchen floor is thousands and millions of sprinkles!!

This cake was definately a labour of love! After three attempts at making chocolate panels and many hours late at night spent making roses it finally came together! Cake was red velvet…nothing says love like a red velvet heart cake!

The brief for this case was that it had to have a castle / medieval feel to it but still remain classy and mature. Roses were also a must! The colours in the client’s theme were red and gold. Cakes are red velvet.
