Made this one for my good friends Laura and Chris. Tiers of Madagascan vanilla and chocolate. Covered with roses and hydrangeas. This has to be the best job in the world!

Loved making this. She has blue glittery eyes and cool pink afro. The cake has some distance to travel so she’s gone headless. Hope she makes it in one piece. Disco ball is an iced polystyrene ball with silver glitter.

Lush chocolate fudge cake with chocolate buttercream filling and coated in a rich chocolate ganache. The customer gave me a picture of the cake she wanted so this is not my design. Really enjoyed making it. Took ages though but pleased with the outcome.

This was my entry in the Cake & Bake Catwalk this past weekend at Manchester Central and my first attempt at painting flowers. It’s inspired by a Vintage Dior dress but the I changed the browns and greens to pinks and reds.
I really love this design but would definitely change the top tier next time.

Made this for my neices Birthday. Banana & caramel, madagascan vanilla and chocolate fudge with belgian chocolate ganache.

Luscious chocolate fudge cupcakes, topped with belgian milk chocolate ganache & adorned with a chocolate mini cookie with hand piped message. Pure chocolate indulgence!

This is my first attempt at a horse and rider in sugar. Think it came out pretty well in the end. The customer was very pleased with it. The cake is luscious chocolate with whipped chocolate ganache filling and the reeds on the cake are hand painted.

In the night garden two tier cake. Completely edible. Top tier chocolate and base in Madagascan vanilla.

I LOVE PINK! ha ha. My brief was to make a lovely gift box of cupcakes in whatever style I wanted. I happily agreed :o) Who wouldn’t? Free reign to make something I want – hell yeah! I enjoyed making them and I really love them, as did the customer.

My first attempt with silver leaf. I wasn’t happy with the first coat so removed it and started again. The ruffles are also a first attempt and could do with being a little looser but other than that, I’m happy with it. This one is for a display and I really enjoyed making it.

This was made for a friends Wedding and I love the simplicity of the design. Tall tiers are my thing. I loathe small dumpy cakes (I’m not a snob honestly :oP).

Made this Wedding cake for a display I’m fortunate enough to be doing in a local coffee & cake house. i was very nervous about doing a Black and white cake as they can be tricky to pull off but I’m really chuffed with how this has turned out.
