I made this cake for our family’s Thanksgiving party. It’s design is loosely based off of a cake by Melissa at My Cake School that used actual candy corn to decorate the cake. My cake is frosted in white chocolate ganache with fondant ruffles and flower. The top tier also has a thin layer of buttercream over the ganache so I could create the ridged effect.
